____________ Answers to the questions listed above. ____________

"How can Seniors Source Inc.'s prescription drug center offer 30% to 80% discount off a U.S. pharmacy's regular retail price?"

Your prescription is filled by Chester Pharmacy, a pharmacy duly licensed in the Province of British Columbia, Canada by the College of Pharmacists of B.C. The Seniors Source Center helps you place the order with the pharmacy so your prescription can be filled as quickly as possible with no delays. Canadian pharmacies can pass on significant pricing discounts to Seniors Source Inc and you for three main reasons.

First, the U.S. dollar exchange rate with the Canadian dollar. Simply put, the U.S. dollar is strong and the Canadian dollar is weak. One of our U.S. dollars buys approximately $1.25 in Canadian dollars. This gives us great buying power. Exchange rates can vary, but the overall trend over the last 15 years has been a consistently stronger U.S. dollar compared to the Canadian dollar. In the late 1980s, the U.S. dollar could, at times, buy $1.15 Canadian. Today, that same U.S. dollar can buy about $1.25 Canadian. This helps us significantly when we are buying prescription drugs direct from a Canadian pharmacy.

Second, Canada has a socialized medical system that is managed and monitored by the federal and provincial governments. In this socialized medical system, the government exerts strong control and influence over pricing of prescription drugs, doctor's services, and hospital stays etc. This strong government influence keeps prescription drug prices low for Canadians and for you.

Third, different patent laws in the two countries affect how long some prescription drugs are protected from competition from generic drugs. When patents expire, prescription drug prices drop quickly. Depending on the prescription drug you need, you may be able to be able to get discounted generic prescription drugs sooner than in the U.S.

These are the big three reasons that let you get big savings from the pharmacy in Canada.

"I don't know Canada very well. I know they have a high standard of living, are a relatively rich country and have many similarities to the U.S. Are the prescription drugs I get the same standard as in the U.S.?"

Most people would tell you the standards are similar, but not exactly the same. What we do know is that many of the prescription drugs prescribed in Canada are actually made in the US and shipped into Canada. In this case, you are actually getting U.S. made prescription drugs. In other cases, the prescription drugs are made in Canada by Canadian companies, subsidiaries of U.S. or European companies or other international companies. Both patented and generic drug production are regulated by the Canadian government, which has established strict controls on the production of prescription drugs in Canada. Health Canada is the department of the federal government that oversees the production and distribution of prescription drugs. For further information, see their website at www.hc-sc.gc.ca/

"Are there any disadvantages to your program compared to just going to my local pharmacy?"

Well, actually yes there are. As in many things in life, there are some trade-offs. The big advantage is you can get a 30% to 80% discount on prescription drugs through Seniors Source Inc.

You may consider the following as some of the disadvantages.

Not all prescription drugs are offered in this Canadian pharmacy drug program. No narcartics or medications that need refrigeration may be shipped across the border.

Since it does take some time to set up your account and mail our prescriptions, this discount prescription drug program doesn't make sense for prescription drugs that you need immediately. We are focused on prescription drugs that tend to be longer term and, in general, related to heart conditions, diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis and other longer-term conditions.

The time to set up your account initially is generally within 3 days (although it may occasionally take longer) from the time we receive your prescription information (see How to Order). The Canadian pharmacy can fill a prescription for a maximum of 3 months. Once you are set up in the system, prescription drug refills are easy to do.

We provide only manufacturer packaged and sealed prescription drugs. This means all prescription drugs are packaged and sealed in the factory. The Canadian pharmacy does not individually fill your prescription by counting out the quantity for your prescription. We provide only in the quantities provided by the manufacturer. This can sometimes limit the selection available. However, it means that all prescription drugs are packaged in the factory and sealed and are subject to the controls placed on this process both by the Canadian government and the manufacturers themselves. The factory packaged and sealed drugs are not opened by the pharmacy. The pharmacy verifies that the quantity and dosage are correct on the prescription drug container and may add additional labelling to the outside of the container.

SINCE THE PRESCRIPTION DRUGS ARE ALL FACTORY PACKAGED AND SEALED, SOME PRESCRIPTION DRUGS ARE NOT IN CHILDPROOF CONTAINERS. Chester Pharmacy simply takes the prescription drugs as they are packaged and sealed in the factory and provides them to you as ordered in your prescription. If you prefer to have prescriptions in child-proof containers, you must sign and indicate on the Pharmacy Order Form.

"Why do you provide only factory packaged and sealed prescription drugs? Doesn't that restrict what you can provide?"

Yes, it does somewhat restrict what the pharmacy provides because prescription drug manufacturers don't manufacture all prescription drugs in all dosages and quantities. However, the pharmacy may have to change the quantities specified on the script to be close to the packaged quantities. What it does allow the pharmacy to do is to maintain a factory quality in providing prescription drugs because the drugs are packaged in the factory and sealed. Chester Pharmacy receives the factory packaged and sealed prescriptions drugs from the Canadian wholesaler, who sources and then ships direct to you. The pharmacy never opens the factory packaged and sealed containers, unless you require child-proof containers. Also we lower our prescription drug costs because they are direct from the wholesaler and packaged by the factory. We pass this on to you in the form of lower prescription drug prices. In summary, a better process and lower prices.

"Does discount prescription drugs mean low quality prescription drugs?"

Most people view the prescription drug standards in Canada as similar to the U.S. See Health Canada's website at www.hc-sc.gc.ca/ or visit the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Food and Drug Administration website at www.fda.gov. Another good source of information on bringing prescription drugs into the U.S. is the U.S. Customs site at www.customs.ustreas.gov.
